Amavaco is the independent consultancy of Maarten Van Waesberghe, focused on Odoo implementations and operational supply chain consulting. The goal is simple: help companies improve the way their processes, planning, and systems work together in practice.
With experience in supply chain operations, ERP-related projects, and process improvement, Amavaco supports businesses that need more than theory alone. Whether the challenge is an Odoo implementation, a planning issue, or a process that no longer supports the way the business works, the focus stays on practical solutions that bring clarity, structure, and efficiency.
Odoo implementation work is carried out through the connected company Insight Dynamics, where tailored ERP solutions are designed around the client’s real processes and operational needs. In parallel, Amavaco supports broader operational consulting assignments, especially in supply chain and planning contexts where day-to-day execution matters.
What makes this approach different is the combination of system thinking and operational reality. The objective is not only to design a good solution on paper, but to make sure it works for the people using it and supports the business in a realistic way.
Meet Maarten
I’m Maarten Vanwaesberghe, founder of Amavaco and co-founder of Insight Dynamics. I help companies improve the way their operations and systems work together, with a focus on Odoo implementations, supply chain planning, and process improvement.
My background combines hands-on operational experience with business studies and ERP-related project work. I first developed a strong interest in ERP and supply chain during my internship at Algist Bruggeman, where I was involved in a SAP S/4HANA implementation. After that, I worked as a supply chain consultant at Advanced Power Solutions, where I supported planning for key customers, helped improve subcontracting flows, and worked on brand phase-in and phase-out processes.
What drives me most is making complexity more workable. I like understanding how a business really operates, identifying where friction sits, and turning that into practical improvements that people can actually use. Through Insight Dynamics, I support companies with tailored Odoo implementations, and through Amavaco I also work more broadly on operational and supply chain challenges.
I hold a degree in International Business Management from Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, where I graduated cum laude. Part of that journey took me to Brazil, where I studied international business and Portuguese, an experience that broadened my perspective and strengthened my interest in working across people, processes, and business environments.
My approach is practical, curious, and hands-on. I believe good consulting is not about adding complexity, but about helping companies move forward with more clarity, better structure, and solutions that fit day-to-day reality.
